What’s a “one-shot”? It’s a magazine where there is only one edition. In the case of the music titles, it’s planned. This was not the plan, however, for Loud Magazine. The love-child of Don Menn and Anne Schukat, Loud was marketed to college-bound, high-school students—basically a “smart” magazine for teens. It had a super-clean look and a cool wide format. Unfortunately we just couldn’t get the funding to take it monthly.
